Women's Cross Country Takes Tenth Place Showing at NESCAC Championship

AMHERST, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's cross country team placed tenth at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon.
 
Meet Highlights
  • The Polar Bears scored 217 points to finish behind Hamilton (208) and Colby (201). Williams won the title with 40 points.
  •  Stephanie Chun led the effort for Bowdoin, finishing the 6k course in a time of 22:58.8. to take 18th place overall, up two spots from a 20th place finish an year ago.
  • Delaney Jones was 43rd in 23:43.9, followed by Kelsey Crawford (57th, 23:56.7), Emma Barker (61st, 23:58.9) and Tori Bacall (64th, 24:03.0).
  • Claire Wyman (24:16.5) and Lauren Traum (25:08.6) rounded out the Bowdoin scorers.

  • Bowdoin will compete at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday, November 11. The site has been moved to Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H.
