BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's cross country team will make its first NCAA Division III Championship appearance since 2007 on Saturday when they compete at the the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course in Spartanburg, S.C.
The Polar Bears earned an at-large bid following an outstanding campaign that saw them ranked fifth in the final USTFCCCA East Region rankings and 27th in the latest Division III poll. Bowdoin finished first in the CBB Tri-Meet and Maine State Meet to open the season, placed seventh at the NESCAC Championship two weeks ago and then earned a fifth place finish at the NCAA Regional last weekend to secure a trip to nationals.

Tori Bacall,
Andrea Becker, and
Leta Griffith.
Lex Davis will be the alternate.
Converse University and OneSpartanburg, Inc. are hosting the championships Nov. 22 at Roger Milliken Cross Country course at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
