The Bowdoin College Sports Information Office handles all of the media and public relations for all of the Polar Bears' varsity athletic teams. Working out of the college's Office of Communications and Public Affairs, the office maintains the Bowdoin Athletics website. The department produces gameday programs for home athletic events and writes pre- and post-game releases on each of Bowdoin's athletic contests, which are distributed to regional and national media outlets. The office also supervises the collection of school records and compiles each of the teams' statistical data in order to report to the NESCAC and NCAA.
All interview requests for coaches, administrators or student-athletes, as well as for the Bowdoin Athletics logo, should be sent to the Assistant AD for Communications, James Caton. Every effort will be made to fulfill any request within a timely manner.Â
