BRUNSWICK, Maine – For the second straight year, the Bowdoin College men's golf team has been named the Platform Golf Division III Academic National Champion, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears repeated with a 3.849 team GPA during the academic year, the highest among all Division III programs. They also earned Presidents Special Recognition for maintaining a team average GPA above 3.5.
Individually, five student athletes were named Cobalt All-America Scholars;
Matthew Cohen,
Adam Eskin,
Andrew Flynn,
Henry Mariscal, and
Joey Zheng. To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors, compete in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds, and hold a stroke average below 79.0.
The Polar Bears will open their 2026-27 campaign at Middlebury's Duke Nelson Invitational on September 12-13.
