Women's Golf Places Sixth at NESCAC Championship

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Bowdoin women's golf team placed sixth of eight squads at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship this weekend at Taconic Golf Club.
 
Tournament Highlights
  • The Polar Bears finished the three-day tournament with a total of 952 (337-305-310), trailing fifth-place Hamilton (943) by nine strokes. Amherst won the title with a score of 901.
  • Senior Shivani Schmulen led the Polar Bears at her final NESCAC Tournament, ending in a tie for 18th spot at 236 (79-78-79).
  • Katie Ng ended one stroke behind in a tie for 20th place at 237 (85-77-75) with Emily Renoff in 25th (89-74-79-242).
  • Emilia Rose (246) and Isabella Salerno (247) rounded out the Bowdoin competitors in 28th and 30th place, respectively.
