WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's golf team placed seventh in a competitive 15-team field at the Williams Invitational this weekend at Taconic Golf Club. The Polar Bears posted rounds of 316 and 317 for a 36-hole total of 633, finishing five strokes ahead of UC Santa Cruz. Middlebury won the team title at 598, edging host Williams by one stroke.
 
Weekend Highlights

• Emily Renoff led Bowdoin, placing 29th with rounds of 79 and 78 for a 157 total.
• Hailey Lim tied for 30th at 158 (80-78), one stroke behind Renoff.
• Allison Le opened with Bowdoin's lowest round of the weekend, a 76, and finished 34th at 159.
• Isabella Salerno tied for 38th at 162 after posting matching rounds of 81.
• Katie Ng improved by seven strokes on Sunday, shooting 80 after an opening 87 to tie for 51st at 167.
