Men's Golf Wraps Regular Season With Strong Showing at Farmingdale

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Bowdoin men's golf team broke the program record for single-round team scoring with a 277 (-3) in the first round of the Farmingdale Spring Invitational enroute to a third place finish overall.
 
Tournament Highlights
  • Bowdoin smashed its previous record of 282 behind first round shooting from Henry Mariscal (-3), Joey Zheng (-2), and Andrew Flynn (-1).
  • Zheng finished the weekend in a tie for third position with a 68-72-140 and finishing even for the weekend.
  • Flynn moved up the leader board on day two to finish one stroke behind Zheng, in a tie for eighth (69-72-141). Teammate Adam Eskin rebounded from a 73 on day one to hit a 68 on Sunday, also carding 141 on the weekend.
  • After leading the Polar Bears on Saturday, Henry Mariscal fell off on Sunday but still scored for Bowdoin (67-78-145).

  • The Polar Bears will step up to the tee at the NESCAC Championship this coming weekend, hosted by Trinity, at Fox Hopyard Golf Club.
