Men's Golf Places Ninth at Skidmore's Tim Brown Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's golf team finished ninth of 17 teams at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College at the Ballston Spa Country Club this weekend.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • Bowdoin finished in the middle of the pack at one of the most competitive Division III fields in the region this spring, totaling a two-day score of 614 (316-298), improving three spots on day two.
  • Henry Mariscal was the top finisher in 21st spot at 149 (80-69), after posting the second lowest round of the weekend on day two to jump 43 places in the final standings.
  • Joey Zheng (77-76) and Kaiden Hong (75-78) finished at identical 153's to end in a tie for 39th place while Andrew Flynn carded a 155 (82-73) in a tie for 46th.

  • The Polar Bears will head to Long Island this week to compete at Bethpage Black and the Farmingdale State Bethpage Black Invitational on Thursday before playing in the FSC Spring Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Bethpage Red.
