Track & Field Host Lynn Ruddy Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College track & field teams competed at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational, with selected athletes at the Valentine's Invite in Boston, in a busy weekend of action.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • At the Ruddy Invitational, Catherine Uwakwe won the 200m (26.40) and the 60 hurdles (9.21) while Gwen Purnell claimed the mile (5:18.77) on the track for the Polar Bears while Kennedy Kirkland won the long jump (5.43m) for the women's team.
  • For the men's team Omar Frostman El-Hmaini won the 200m (23.52) and the triple jump (13.44m) at the Ruddy Invitational. Elliot Fontaine took the 1000m (2:36.87), Joseph Phillips won the 400m (51.87), Ashton Dunlap took the mile (4:25.37), and Kane Demers won the long jump (6.91m).
