Women's Track & Field Rounds Out Home Campaign at Pine Tree Relays

LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's track & field team hosted the Pine Tree Relays on Saturday at Magee-Samuelson Track in their final tune-up prior to next weekend's NESCAC Championship meet. In the nine-team meet, Bowdoin totaled 60 points to take fourth place overall.
 
Meet Highlights
  • Lydia Pitts picked up Bowdoin's lone win of the day, taking the long jump by a half-meter with a distance of 5.54 meters, marking a career-best.
  • Jada Scotland took second place in both the discus (35.10 meters) and hammer throw events (43.53 meters) for the Polar Bears.
  • Gabby Phillips took second place in the 400m event (1:01.21) while Leila Trummel (2:18.18) and Jamie Lau (2:24.12) took second and fourth, respectively, in the 800m.
