NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Bowdoin College women's cross country team placed 12
th in a field of 22 teams at the highly-competitive Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday. In a loaded field that included top Division III teams from across the nation, Bowdoin ended with a team score of 368 to finish 12
th overall and fourth among East Region squads, defeating a pair of nationally-ranked teams.
Meet Highlights
- Stephanie Chun led the way for the Polar Bears, finishing the 6k race in 22:25.3 to take 24th place overall, followed closely by Leila Trummel in 26th at 22:28.5
- First-year Lex Davis was 104th in a time of 23:38.8 for Bowdoin
- Abby Mueller (23:51.7) was 120th and Claire Wyman (23:53.0) was 123rd to round of the top-five Polar Bears.
