LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's indoor track and field team recorded several personal bests and excellent individual performances in a deep field that included a pair of Division I programs this weekend at the Bates Invitational.  
 
Meet Highlights

• Bowdoin's wins on the day came courtesy of John Auer, who collected a win in the 1000M (2:34.08), and Ajay Olson, who posted a school and facility record time of 22.22 in the 200M, breaking the mark of 22.38 set by Brian Laurits '04 in 2002.
• Max Russo made his debut at the 600M distance and was the top D3 finisher in a strong New England qualifying time of 1:24.35.
• Bowdoin's 60M hurdling trio of William Warlick (8.45), Adepoju Arogundade (8.69), and Parker Beatty (8.79) went 3-4-5 in the race, all posting personal bests and top-ten Bowdoin times in the event.
• In the field events, Cheng Xing was second with a 6.91m distance in his first long jump of the season, while Ryan Durkin was second in the pole vault with a height of 4.15m. Both were the top D3 finishers in their competitions.
