BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's track and field team opened its 2022 indoor campaign with a win at the inaugural Peter Slovenski Invitational Saturday at Farley Field House.

Meet Highlights
- A school record fell and multiple Polar Bears earned New England D-III and NEICAAA qualifying marks in a successful season-opening victory for Bowdoin.
- Ajay Olson headlined the day with a school-record time of 6.90 in the 60M finals, earning New England qualification with the time and breaking the record of 6.96 formerly held by Yaw Sekyere '20.
- The Polar Bears went 1-2 in the 60M hurdles as William Warlick (8.62) edged Adepoju Arogundade (8.80) at the wire.
- The trio combined to help Bowdoin win the 4x400 relay (3:27.55) along with Zach Marchese.
- In the field events, Ryan Durkin claimed the pole vault win (4.15) in a tiebreak over Nick Sibiryakov while Jack McGinn won the weight throw with a distance of 14.31m.
