BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's track team took second and the men took fifth at the Bowdoin Invitational II hosted at Farley Field House on Sunday.

Women's Meet Highlights
- The women's team posted five first-place finishes in a highly-competitive field.
- Samantha Schaefer won the 60M dash in 7.97 seconds while Morgan Gallagher claimed the 200 dash in 26.34.
- Emma Beane took the 400 dash with 1:00.64 and Caroline Shipley won the Mile with a time of 5:03.96.
- In the field events, Serena Jonas in the long jump with 16' 11.5"
Men's Meet Highlights
- Dylan Welch took second place for Bowdoin in the 800M (1:59.37) and Alec Ferguson-Hull was runner-up in the 3000 (8:55.30)
- Jared Prior placed third in the long jump with a distance of 21' 6", just ahead of Mason Freeman who posted a 21' 1.25"
- Freeman also took fourth in the 60M dash in 7.18 seconds while Soren Birkeland placed fourth the 400M (52.61)
