BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College outdoor track and field teams posted numerous winners in the first-ever outdoor track meet "under the lights" Friday at renovated Magee-Samuelson Track.

The Polar Bears welcomed athletes from Southern Maine, Maine-Farmington and Bates in the non-scoring meet.

Meet Highlights

• For the Bowdoin women, the Polar Bears got track wins from Brittney McKinney (200M), Claire Traum (800M), Sarah Kelley (1500M), Brigid Greed (5000M) and Sara Ory (400M).
• In the field events, Bowdoin got first-place finishes from Belinda Saint Louis (Discus), Stefanie Mueller (Hammer Throw) and Leah Matari (Javelin)
• The men's meet saw Bowdoin get first-place showings from Yaw Sekyere (100M), Owen Tuck (200M), Jack Moynihan (400M), Conor Donahue (800M), Vincent Dong (1500M), Sean MacDonald (5000M), Nathaniel Kent (110M hurdles) and Alan Banks (400M hurdles).
• Field event wins came from Reid Brawer (Long Jump), Brian Greenberg (Triple Jump), Ajeya Balasubramanyam (Shot Put) and John Pietro (Hammer Throw).

Up Next

• The women will host the Aloha Relays next Friday and Saturday at Magee-Samuelson Track
• The men will compete at the Maine State Championship on Saturday at Bates.
