BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team rolled to their third consecutive victory, 21-5, over the University of New England at Whittier Field on Tuesday evening.

The Polar Bears improve to 3-2 this season while the Nor'easters fall to 4-2 overall.

Game Highlights

• After the teams exchanged goals to open the contest, Bowdoin scored the next nine goals to take a commanding 10-1 lead after the opening quarter.
• Shawn Daly sparked the effort with two goals and two assists in the first period.
• Daniel Buckman scored twice in the second quarter to give the Polar Bears a 13-2 edge at halftime.
• Bowdoin held UNE scoreless in the third quarter and added six more goals in the fourth period to ice the game.

• Daly ended with three goals and three assists for Bowdoin while first-year Donal Mullane scored three times with two assists.
• Jeff Powers also had a had trick and Bradley Ingersoll ended with a goal and two assists.
• Five different players scored for UNE, led by Alex Zadworny who had two assists to go with his goal.
• Caleb Geitz led all players with three caused turnovers for Bowdoin.
• Sam Carlin won 8-10 faceoffs for the Polar Bears and grabbed six ground balls. Pat Broughton claimed 9 of 12 faceoffs for Bowdoin.
• Bowdoin owned a 53-23 edge in shots and won 19 of 29 faceoffs.
