HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin men's lacrosse team rattled off its sixth consecutive victory as the Polar Bears doubled-up Trinity 12-6 on Saturday afternoon.

The 18^th-ranked Polar Bears climb to 6-2 (4-1 NESCAC) while dropping the Bantams to 2-6 (0-5 NESCAC).

Game Highlights

• Trinity scored under a minute into play, but the Polar Bears responded with four goals in the opening quarter and three in less than a minute. Nick Conway, Jake Crossman, and Shawn Daly scored in quick succession to give Bowdoin the 4-1 lead.
• The Bantams cut the deficit to two heading into the half with quick back-to-back goals in the second, responding to an opening tally by Matthew Crowell.
• Four different Polar Bears scored in the third and Daly dished out assists on all but one goal in the quarter while outscoring the Bantams 4-0 through the frame.
• The two teams traded goals through the final 15 minutes of play and Brett Kujala and Daly each picked up their second of the game.

By the Numbers

• Daly, Kujala, and Crowell all had a pair of goals while Daly paced the Polar Bears with three helpers.
• Sam Carlin went 16-22 at the faceoff X for Bowdoin.
• Peter Mumford made six stops between the pipes to earn the win.
