BOSTON, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team rolled to its fifth consecutive win, coasting to a 20-6 non-conference win at UMass-Boston on Tuesday evening.

The 18th-ranked Polar Bears never trailed and improve to 5-2 on the year. The Beacons drop to 3-4 this spring with the loss.

Game Highlights

• Bowdoin jumped to a 7-0 lead after one quarter and scored the first ten goals of the game to take command early.
• Jeff Powers scored three times in the ten-goal surge while Drew Hillman assisted on three tallies in the early going.
• The Polar Bears held a 10-2 edge at halftime and exploded for seven more goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
• Brandon Lee and Cal Fullerton scored twice each in the third period as Bowdoin owned a 17-3 lead heading to the final quarter.

• Thirteen different players scored for the Polar Bears, led by Lee, who had three goals and two assists. Powers also collected a hat trick for Bowdoin.
• Jeffrey Odiorne had a goal and three helpers while James Strabley had two and two for the Polar Bears. Hillman also had three assists for Bowdoin.
• John Young made four saves, allowing three goals in 43:06 before giving way to Jack O'Connor, who stopped four shots and permitted two goals over 11:59. Matt Cote finished out the final 4:55 in net for Bowdoin, permitting one goal.
