CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton women's ice hockey team scored three unanswered goals to storm back and erase a two goal deficit for a 3-2 overtime win against Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears (11-7-7, 6-5-2 NESCAC) scored in both the first and second periods, but could not find the back of the net through the final frame of play. The Continentals (12-6-2, 7-4-1 NESCAC) avoided the series sweep with a pair of goals in the third to force overtime.

Game Highlights

• Marissa Fichter put Bowdoin on the board 3:13 into the first period, with Brooke Solomon and Kimmy Ganong tallying assists.
• Brigit Bergin finished off a feed from Tala Glass 7:22 into the second for a power play goal that gave Bowdoin a 2-0 lead.
• The Continentals cut the game to one with a power play goal of their own 4:51 into the third by Michaela Giuttari.
• With less than four minutes remaining, Emily Williams scored an equalizer that pushed to game to overtime.
