Box Score HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity women's ice hockey team scored a pair of third period goals to send Bowdoin to a 2-0 defeat in the regular season finale.
The Polar Bears enter the postseason with a 12-8-4 (7-6-3 NESCAC) record. Trinity ends the regular season with a 9-12-3 (8-6-2 NESCAC) mark.
Game Highlights
- Chandler Solimine nearly put the Bantams on the board six minutes into the first. Solimine clinked a wrister off the crossbar to open the game.
- The second period saw four combined penalties by both teams, three called on Trinity, but neither side was able to break the deadlock. Sydney Belinskas and Kerri St. Denis both held tough, making nine saves each in the period, as the two teams entered the second intermission tied at zeros.
- Trinity finally broke through just 2:52 into the final frame. Lauren MacMaster sent a pass to Maggie Cusick, positioned just outside the near-side faceoff circle. Cursick quickly fired a wrist shot that found its way past St. Denis.
- The Bantams had a pair of power play opportunities in the period but were unable to convert as the game entered its final minutes. With 1:17 to play Allie Bravi sent a pass to Taylor Foy who was just inside the blue line. Foy fired a clapper past St. Denis to the top shelf.

- St. Denis ended the day with 27 saves.
- Belinksas made 23 stops for Trinity.
- Bowdoin went 0-for-4 on the power play, while holding Trinity to 0-for-3.
