HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin women's ice hockey team scored minutes into Friday night's game at Trinity but the two teams skated to a 1-1 tie.

The Bantams move to 8-12-3 overall with a 7-6-2 mark in conference play. The Polar Bears sit at 12-7-4 (7-5-3 NESCAC).

Game Highlights

• Bowdoin scored just 1:58 into the game, and 28 seconds into the power play, off a tally by Maureen Greason. Kimmy Ganong fired off a shot from the point towards Greason who tipped it out of the air past the Trinity goalie.
• Trinity answered midway through the frame as Olivia White stripped the puck of a Bowdoin defender in front of the net and fired a shot off the crossbar. Kelcie Finn put away the rebound to even the game.
• Sydney Belinskas kept the game knotted with a key save against Ganong with five to play in the second period. The junior had eight saves during a third period Polar Bear power play.
• Bowdoin outshot Trinity 6-1 in overtime. Julie Dachille saw a wrister from the left wing turned away and Brooke Solomon missed just wide with a minute to go.

By the Numbers

• Kerri St. Denis turned away 25 shots in net for Bowdoin.
• Belinksas made 37 saves for Trinity.
• Bowdoin went 1-for-6 on the power play while holding the Bantams to 0-for-6.
