Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Bowdoin women's ice hockey team picked up the season's fifth shutout in a 3-0 win over Wesleyan on Friday night.
The Polar Bears (10-6-2, 5-4-1 NESCAC) collected their second consecutive conference win after downing Middlebury in overtime last weekend. The Cardinals (7-6-3, 4-4-1 NESCAC) had lost only one other contest in the month of January, falling 1-0 to Connecticut College.
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin got on the board early as Maureen Greason scored just 1:10 into paly. Brooke Solomon had her first of two assists, finding Greason for the eventual game-winner.
- Solomon fed Marissa Fichter on the power play at 12:56 to double the Polar Bears lead later in the period.
- Jess Cloutier scored her first collegiate goal 11:35 into the middle frame, burying the pass from Maddy Hall.
