WESTFIELD, Mass. - A pair of Bowdoin throwers established personal bests at Day One of the ECAC Track & Field Championship Wednesday at Westfield State University.

Bowdoin javelin thrower Ellen Masalsky threw 40.61 meters to finish in fourth place in the event. Hammer thrower John Pietro tossed 50.19 meters to take 11th place overall. Both were personal-best performances.
