BRUNSWICK, Maine - Propelled by a big second quarter, the Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team defeated Williams, 15-9, on Saturday afternoon at Ryan Field.
The Polar Bears (1-1) pick up their first win of the campaign while the Ephs (1-2) drop their second straight contest.
Game Highlights
- The teams traded goals in the opening period before Bowdoin took command in the second quarter
- Tied at 2-2 entering the frame, Bowdoin rolled off three straight goals to take the lead for good as Brett Kujala, Matthew Crowell and Alex Osgood all found the net within a five minute span
- After a Conor Roddy goal stemmed the tide for Williams, Daniel Buckman notched a man-up goal and Clayton Wright scored just six seconds later to give the hosts a 7-3 lead at halftime
