BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's and women's track team posted strong finishes at the Bowdoin Invitational II hosted at Farley Field House on Saturday.
The Polar Bear men took second place overall in an eight-team field while the women's team placed fourth of ten teams.

Men's Meet Highlights
- Jacob Ellis won the 800 meter race for Bowdoin in a time of 1:57.50
- Stephan DeCarlo won the long jump with a height of 6.88 meters, setting a personal best
- Joseph Staudt set a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 8.47, placing second by .01 seconds
- John Keneally set a personal best and earned second place overall in the 600 meters (1:23.87)
- John Pietro also set a personal best and took a runner-up finish in the weight throw (14.47 meters)
- Bowdoin's 4x400 relay team placed second overall (3:27.46)
Women's Meet Highlights
- Meghan Bellerose placed second in the 800 meter run (2:22.45)
- Sarah Kelley (2:59.17) and Demi Feder (3:02.17) placed 2-3 in the 1000 meters
- Bowdoin took second place overall in the 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays
- Carolyn Brady set a personal best for Bowdoin in the triple jump (10.31 meters)
