CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Bowdoin College outdoor track & field teams competed at the Open New England Outdoor Championship at MIT this weekend.
In a loaded field that included mostly Division I programs the top Polar Bear performance came from pole vaulter Erin Silva, who captured third place with a height of 3.85 meters (12-7.5).
Andrew Brenner was fantastic in the decathlon, finishing as the second D-3 finisher and seventh overall with a total of 5,170 points to lead the Bowdoin men. Liam Nicoll was fourth in the 400 meter dash for Bowdoin in a time of 49.45.
Bowdoin will compete in the ECAC Championship next weekend in the final meet prior to NCAA Division III Championship selection.
