CAROLINA, Puerto Rico - The Bowdoin College outdoor track & field team competed in a spring break meet in Puerto Rico against several club and international collegiate squads this weekend.
Among the top finishers in the non-scoring meet was the women's 4x400 meter relay team of Emily Clark, Georgia Bolduc, Meghan Bellerose, Demi Feder that finished second with a time of 4:08.20. Other strong showings included Erin Silva's second place in pole vault (3.70 meters), Katharine Krupp taking runner-up in the triple jump (11.19 meters) and Sarah Kelley taking fourth in the 800 meters (2:19.28).
On the men's side, Seamus Power was third in the javelin throw (52.08 meters), Matthew Jacobson took fourth in the 1500 meter run (4:04.05) and Kevin Hoose earned fifth in the 3000 meters (8:59.58).
The Polar Bears are scheduled to return to action with a Home Invitational on April 4.
