CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Members of the Bowdoin College track and field team competed at the Open New England Championships last weekend at MIT.
In a field that included several Division I schools, Bowdoin's Anna Ackerman posted the top finish for the Polar Bears by earning a third-place showing in the 3000 meter steeplechase (11:00.01).
Erin Silva finished 11th overall in the pole vault, but continued her record-breaking season by eclipsing her own school record again with a height of 3.55 meters.
On the men's side, James Boeding finished eighth in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:26.60) while Mason Moss earned ninth in the javelin with a throw of 57.72 meters.
