BRUNSWICK, Maine - The 17th-ranked Endicott men's lacrosse team led
by as many as five goals in the fourth quarter and held off a
furious rally to defeat 12th-ranked Bowdoin, 10-9, on Wednesday
evening at Ryan Field. The Gulls improve to 9-2 overall this year
while the Polar Bears drop their second-straight one-goal decision
and fall to 7-3.
Endicott controlled the ball for much of the opening half and took
a 4-2 lead at the break thanks to a pair of goals each from Dan

goals after intermission as Eddie O'Reilly, Brad Lipkvich and Jack
Curtis found the back of the net, making it 7-2.
The Polar Bears quickly replied with a pair of goals from Eric
Thompson and a Mark Flibotte tally to trim the lead to 7-5, but
Endicott capped the frantic period with a man-up score from Brandon
Dube to give the visitors an 8-5 lead heading into the fourth.
