Caroline Crump Named Assistant Coach for Women's Lacrosse

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Caroline Crump as an assistant coach for the women's lacrosse program.
 
Crump comes to Bowdoin after spending the 2025-26 season as an assistant coach at Lafayette College. Prior to Lafayette, Crump spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Skidmore College, serving as the Thoroughbreds' offensive coordinator. Crump began her collegiate coaching career at Rochester Institute of Technology, serving as an assistant coach during the 2021-22 season. Her coaching background also includes work at the club and high school levels, including time with Albany Power and Stampede Lacrosse.
 
A native of Rhinebeck, New York, Crump enjoyed an outstanding playing career at Niagara University. A four-time All-MAAC selection, she finished her career with 217 points on 151 goals and 66 assists. At the conclusion of her career, she ranked second in Niagara history in points and fourth in assists while starting 71 games for the Purple Eagles. Crump earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and criminology from Niagara in 2018 before completing a master's degree in the same field.
