BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College junior
Grace Harvey (Ferrisburgh, Vt.) has been named a Second Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association in awards announced on Friday.
In addition to being named a Second Team All-American, Harvey was named a First Team All-Region honoree by the IWLCA, and was joined by
Katie Athanasoulas (Concord, Mass.) on the First Team Pilgrim Region.
Harvey, a midfielder, led the NESCAC and set a new program single-season record with 101 draw controls (6.73/game). Harvey also finished fourth on the team in scoring, totaling 24 goals and six assists while also finishing tied for the team lead with Athanasoulas in ground balls (32). She is Bowdoin's first All-American since Fiona Bundy in 2022, and the first player to earn Second Team All-American since Eliza Denious and Caroline Maxwell in 2020.
Athanasoulas, a defender, led the Polar Bears, and ranked third in the league, with 37 caused turnovers (2.47/game). She was also tied for the team lead with Harvey in ground balls (32).
