Coach Pizzo's Report - April 28

The Polar Bears finished 12^th overall at the 2026 Women's Team Race National Championship hosted by Tulane University at Southern Yacht Club.  The regatta started with a brief delay from Thunderstorms that impacted the area.  The Polar Bears had a tough first day of the championship, losing many close races just a few boatlengths from the finish.  The team battled back on day two and won three of the remaining five races including wins over Tulane, St. Mary's, and MIT.  Competing for the Polar Bears was Lauren Russler, Izzy Tsuchitori, Kai Olson, Kyra Phelan, Mairéad Reitzel, Maizie Bartlett, Becca Schill, Maggie Tripp, Posie Cabaniss, and Ava Tobias.

The Polar Bears will learn about selection for Fleet Race Nationals hosted by the University of South Florida later on this week.
