BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin sailing team heads into nationals with a host of post-season accolades earned by the roster.  

Senior Skipper Lauren Russler (Coral Gables, Fla.) earned All-NEISA Second Team as a Skipper, becoming the first Polar Bear to earn the honor since Lizzy Kaplan in 2023.

Eleven Bowdoin sailors earned ICSA All-Academic Team honors at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Ethan Danielson '26, Hazel Johnson '27, Isabelle Tsuchitori '26, Kaile Olson '27, Kique Ruiz '26, Kyra Phelan '26, Lauren Russler '26, Maizie Bartlett '27, Michelangelo Vecchio '27, Rebecca Schill '27, and Shea McGrath '27 were all recognized.

Bowdoin qualified for both the Women's Fleet Race and Open Fleet Race Championships in Tampa, Florida.
