WOODFORD, Vt. – The Bowdoin Nordic ski team had a stellar weekend of results at the Williams Carnival and looks to use its forward momentum heading into the EISA Championship next weekend.
The Polar Bears continued to climb in Nordic rankings with a fourth-place finish among Nordic scoring teams.
Carnival Highlights
- Oliver Swabey had a PR finish in Friday's 10k skate with a 14th place finish to pace the men. Lars Sorom and Sawyer Weale finished 36th and 37th.
- Emma Crum continued to post team-best results, finishing just off the podium on Friday. Mirra Payson and Gillian Fairfax finished back-to-back to sneak into the top-20.
- Saturday's team relay saw the men finish sixth and 15th. The consistency and depth gave the Polar Bears a 5th place team finish.
- The women were seconds off the podium in fourth and the second relay finished eighth. The women's side combined to finish fourth overall on Saturday.
