Coach Pizzo's Report - September 29
The Bowdoin sailing team competed in a trio of events over the weekend, including the Women's ACCs, Moody Trophy, and Smith Trophy.

Navy hosted the Women's ACCs which served as a qualifier for the ACC Finals. Light air forced limited racing over the weekend with only nine races completed in each division. The team was in the mix for a podium finish before slipping to fifth in the final race.
Lauren Russler and
Ava Tobias competed in A division with
Kyra Phelan and
Isabelle Tsuchitori in B division.Â
Caroline O'Hara, Mairead Ritzel, and
Yasmine Nee were reserves. The team qualified for the ACC Finals.

Bowdoin sent four sailors to the Moody Trophy at URI.
Ethan Danielson and
Kate Lavallee sailed A division with
Ryan Keenan and
Lottie Pare in B division. The team finished seventh overall after competing in eight races each over the two days.

Four Polar Bears traveled to MIT for the one-day Smith Trophy in 420s and tech dinghies.
Shea McGrath and
Eve Cintron competed in A division with
Noah Reischmann and
Maggie Tripp in B division. Bowdoin finished 11
th out of 18 teams.
