Coach Pizzo's Report - Septembeer 22
The Polar Bears competed in five regattas, including the Match Race New England Championship at Coast Guard, the Eagle Invite at Boston College, the Mrs. Hurst Bowl at Dartmouth, and the Hoyt Trophy at Brown.

At the Match Race Championship, the team finished the first round robin with a 2-5 record with wins over Vermont and Yale. The Polar Bears  had very close races with both Boston College and Coast Guard. Roger Williams defeated Bowdoin 2-0 in the quarter finals and the team finished 7
th overall.
Ethan Danielson, Izzy Tsuchitori,
Kyra Phelan, and
Kique Ruiz competed for the Polar Bears with
Riley Donahue in reserve.

Three boats from Bowdoin competed at Boston College with
Cole Amaral,
Kate Lavallee,
Ryan Keenan,
Caroline O'Hara, and
Noah Reischmann, and Lily Spartz sailing for the Polar Bears. The team finished third of six teams overall,
Ryan Keenan and
Caroline O'Hara finished third overall.

Nine races were completed in each division over two days of racing at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl.
Bowdoin finished 8
th overall, with
Lauren Russler and
Ava Tobias winning A-division. Mairead Ritzel and Yasi Nee competed in B division

Two light and tricky days of competition at Brown greeted the Polar Bears. Seven races were completed in each division, and the team finished 15
th overall.
Michelangelo Vecchio and
Elizabeth Wire competed in A division and
Lucca Antonietti and
Maggie Tripp competed in B-division with
Charlie Conover and
Owen Benison as reserves.
