NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Bowdoin College outdoor track and field team took advantage of great conditions this weekend, posting some stellar marks at the New England Division III Championship hosted by Coast Guard.
 
Men's Meet Highlights

• The men's team totaled 31 points to finish ninth in the region.  
• Ian Stebbins claimed the New England title in the men's pole vault, clearing 5.05 meters to set a new school record and take first place overall.
• Kane Demers was fourth in both the 110 hurdles (14.63) and in the long jump (7.07m).
• Omar Frostman El-Hmaini placed third in the triple jump (14.11m) while Charlie Aucoin was fifth in the discus.

Women's Meet Highlights

• The Bowdoin women scored 23 points to finish in 14^th spot overall.
• Rose Jenkins was the top finisher of the day for the Polar Bears, taking second in the heptathlon (4,202 points).
• Kennedy Kirkland was fourth in the 100m (12.07), and she also anchored Bowdoin's 4x100 relay along with Sophia Young, Juliette Coley, and Anna Kim to a fifth-place showing in 48.15.
