MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's track and field team came away with a fifth place finish at the 2025 NESCAC Championships Saturday at Wesleyan University.
 
Championship Highlights

• Bowdoin matched their fifth-place finish from 2023, totaling 70.5 points, finishing just behind Williams (74) and ahead of Colby (54.5) and Bates (54). Middlebury won the title with 169 points.
• Kane Demers led the way for Bowdoin, winning the 110 hurdles in a time of 14.82, shaving .45 seconds off his prelim time to take the crown. He also placed sixth in the long jump (6.60m) and in the 200m (22.10).
• Oliver Brandes took second in the 800m (1:50.62), improving two spots from last year, and Ian Stebbins claimed a runner-up showing in the men's pole vault (4.95m), ranking eighth in the NCAA this spring.
• Several Polar Bears earned third place showings, including Will Goddard in the 1500m (3:54.57), Seamus McDonough in the 10K (31:15.62), Adepoju Arogundade in the 400m hurdles (52.95), and Charlie Aucoin in the discus (43.64m).
