HISTORY MADE IN GREENSBORO!

GREENSBORO, N.C. - First-year Natalie Garre (Bethesda, Md.) has delivered Bowdoin's first swimming national title in 42 years, claiming the 500 freestyle on Wednesday night (4:44.90) at the NCAA Division III Championships in North Carolina!

Garre becomes just the second women's swimmer in program history to win a national championship, joining Lissa McGrath Millett '83, who won three national titles in her career.

Garre will have another opportunity to add to her accolades later this week when she competes in the 400 IM on Thursday, the 800 free relay Friday, and the 1650 freestyle on Saturday.
