BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's swimming and diving team hosted the CBB Meet and finished second against its in-state NESCAC rivals on Saturday afternoon.
Colby took the top spot, beating both Bates and Bowdoin in head-to-head scoring. Bowdoin topped Bates by a 189-105 margin.
Meet Highlights
- Harper Stevenson had a stellar meet with wins in both the 200 free (1:52.73) and the 500 free (4:59.38). Stevenson finished as runner-up in the 100 fly with a time of 57.33.
- Ellie Denney turned in a pair of second-place individual finishes. In the 50 free, Denney tied for second with a 24.17 and swam a 52.73 in the 100.
- In the 200 fly, Sydney Lillis took the top spot with a 2:04.62. Lizzie Walsh also took an individual win in the 200 IM (2:07.25).
- Ursula von Goeler won the 1-meter with a score of 286.35 and placed second on the 3-meter (269.55). Lillian Tetreault took third on the 1-meter (228.60) and posted a similar result on the 3-meter (212.6).
- Riley Kopp grabbed a podium finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:42.99.
- Bowdoin closed out the meet with a third-place relay finish in the 200 free. Stevenson, Walsh, Nina Fearon, and Denney combined for a 1:37.92.
