Nordic Leaves Vermont With Continued Consistent Results

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Bowdoin Nordic ski team saw positive results with a sixth overall finish out of all Nordic teams at the Middlebury Carnival.
 
Carnival Highlights
  • Friday's races were completed in heats for the classic sprint portion of the weekend. Emma Crum advanced through the heats to earn a spot in the finals and finished second overall for the day. Jordan Grialou advanced from the quarterfinals and into the semifinals, finishing fourth in the semis, for an eighth overall result. Kira Gilbert skied in a quarterfinal and secured 30th.
  • Lars Sorom was Bowdoin's top finisher on the men's side, sliding into 29th.
  • Saturday's race was a 10 classic individual start that consisted of two laps around a 5k course. Crum finished just off the podium in fourth and Grialou was 16th. Gillian Fairfaz clawed into the top-20. Mirra Payson and Keira Scott finished back-to-back in 26th and 27th.
  • Adam Carlisle finished 29th overall to pace the men.
