BRUNSWICK, Maine – Three skiers from the Bowdoin Nordic ski team will compete at the NCAA Championship, hosted by Dartmouth, from March 6-8.

Polar Bear Preview
Emma Crum, Jordan Grialou, and Adam Carlisle all earned spots at nationals following the conclusion of the EISA season. The three Polar Bears compete against skiers from schools ranging from Colby to University of Colorado, as skiing has a single championship.

Crum had a breakout season and won a pair of carnival races, including the 15k mass start freestyle at the regional finals. The junior was a First-Team selection and skied well on the Dartmouth course at the carnival there in mid-February. Crum's win at St. Lawrence was a program-first and she now owns the two best-ever finishes for a Bowdoin skier. Crum was Bowdoin's top finisher at last year's championships with 17^th and 18^th place finishes out in Colorado.

Grialou continues her consistent career with a third consecutive qualifying season. The junior finished in the mid-30's at last year's championship. Grialou's top individual finish this season was semifinals appearance in the classic sprint heats at the Middlebury Carnival, finishing eighth overall. Grialou earned an 11^th place finish at the St. Lawrence Carnival.

Adam Carlisle rounds out the trio with an outstanding performance at the regional finals, finishing sixth in the mass start skate. The senior's best race during the early part of the season was on the Dartmouth course with an eighth-place finish in the 20k mass start skate.
Bowdoin's best finishes at the NCAA Championship belong to Hannah Miller '17 in 2017 and Renae Anderson '21 in 2022.

Race Schedule
Racing begins on Thursday, March 6, with the 7.5 km individual start classic. The skiers return to the snow on Saturday, March 8, in the 20 km mass start freestyle.
