BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin junior
Emily Ferguson (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named a Second Team All-American in selections announced by the NFHCA on Tuesday.
It is the first All-American honor for Ferguson, who paced the Polar Bears with 15 goals this season and was second in the conference in regular season goals. The forward also led the way in assists for Bowdoin with ten helpers, and also topped the conference in the regular season. Three of her tallies were game-winners on the year.
Through 48 career games, Ferguson has scored 26 goals and 14 assists for Bowdoin. The Polar Bears finished an outstanding season with a record of 10-8, advancing to the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
