Cross Country Teams Post Impressive Finishes at NEICAAA Championship

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Bowdoin College cross country teams posted impressive showings at the All-Division NEICAAA Championships last weekend. The women's team took ninth overall, the best finishing among D-III teams while men's team was 11th overall, second among Division III competitors.
 
Meet Highlights
  • In the men's meet, Bowdoin was led by Seamus McDonough, who took a tenth place finish individually in the 8k race (24:33.64), ending as the top D-III entrant.
  • In the women's race, Angelina Hickey (18:21.84) and Laura White (18:22.80) each made big, late pushes to finish 23rd and 24th, respectively, in the 5k race, also finishing as the best D-III competitors.
  • Ashton Dunlap (25:50.88) also earned a top-100 finish in the 267-runner men's race, placing 76th overall.
  • The women's race featured 288 runners, with Kaylee Hale (54th, 18:55.62), Leta Griffith (63rd, 19:07.30), Francine Miller (68th, 19:10.25), and Cam Meyer (78th, 19:14.78) also posting strong showings.
