BOSTON, Mass. – The Bowdoin College indoor track & field teams boasted a pair of school records in an excellent showing at the New England Small College Invitational on Sunday at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston.
 
Ian Stebbins (men's pole vault) and Kennedy Kirkland (women's long jump) paced the Polar Bears with school-record showings at one the region's top meets of the indoor season.
 
Women's Meet Highlights - Results

• Kirkland won the long jump, posting a distance of 5.68m to establish a new school record in the event. As part of a busy day, Kirkland also was fifth in the 200m (25.57) and 10^th in the 400m (1:00.86).
• Emma Gibbens earned a runner-up finish in the shot put, carding a throw of 12.08m to finish second.
• Rose Jenkins was third in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.56 meters for the Polar Bears.
• Bowdoin's 4x400 relay team of Catherine Uwakwe, Anna Kim, Arly Rodriguez, and Rose Jenkins also earned a top-five finish, placing fourth in a time of 4:24.37.

Men's Meet Highlights – Results

• In winning the pole vault, Ian Stebbins cleared the bar at a height of 4.80m to break the school's indoor mark in the event.
• Kane Demers enjoyed a fantastic day, picking up a pair of individual wins in both the 200m (21.67) and the 60m hurdles (8.20).
• Bowdoin's 4x400 relay team of Ronan O'Flaherty, Jonas Varnas, Joseph Phillips, and Adepoju Arogundade took a runner-up finish in a time of 3:22.40.
• Noah Rockey rounded out the top-five performers for Bowdoin, taking fifth in the 60m dash (7.05).
