LAST WEEK
Bowdoin dropped its home opening to Middlebury last weekend. Despite holding a halftime lead against the Panthers, the visitors stormed back in the second half for a 39-15 victory. Hamilton also held a halftime lead against Amherst on Saturday, but surrendered three touchdowns in the second half of a 21-7 defeat.

POLAR BEAR LEADERS
Bowdoin's Robbie Long is second in the conference in rushing yards (71.5/game) and is tied for the league lead with two touchdowns on the ground. Dan Fiore is second in the NESCAC in tackles (9.0/game) while Aidan Reidy is tied for the conference lead with 2.0 sacks this season and paces the conference with 4.5 tackles for loss. Bowdoin leads the conference in time of possession so far this season (32:42 average) but will look to improve on their third-down conversions, which stand ninth in the conference (20.7%).

SCOUTING THE CONTINENTALS
Of Hamilton quarterback Luke Kurzum's 28 completions this year, a league-best 16 have gone to wideout Chester Boynton, who also leads the league with 178 yards receiving. The Continentals will look to get their offense on track against Bowdoin, as they are last in the league in scoring (7.0 points/game) and ninth in total offense (201.0 yards/game) through two games. Hamilton's defense is led by defensive back Kyle Bratcher, who stands among the lead leaders in solo tackles (10) and passes defended (4).

LAST MEETING
Last year in Clinton, Bowdoin rolled to a 26-12 victory over the Continentals. The Polar Bears scored the first 26 points of the game en route to the win. Koy Price led the way for the Bowdoin defense, posting nine tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup.

BOWDOIN vs. HAMILTON – ALL-TIME
The teams have played 39 times with Hamilton holding an 22-17 advantage all-time. Bowdoin has won back-to-back games in the series for the first time since they won three straight between 2013-15. Despite the closeness of the series history, the Bowdoin-Hamilton games are frequently one-sided. The average margin of victory by the winning team in the last six meetings is 20.0 points and the last game that was decided by fewer than one possession was a 26-25 win by Hamilton in 2016.
