Women's Squash Nets Road Win at Bates to Cap Regular Season

LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's squash team closed out its season with an exciting 5-4 victory over Bates on Wednesday evening. The Polar Bears finish their regular season with a record of 7-6 and will learn their NESCAC Championship seeding following the completion of the remaining regular season matches this weekend.
 
Match Highlights
  • Bowdoin dominated the bottom of the ladder, displaying great depth by claiming wins at the final five spots to take the victory.
  • Three of those matches came down to the wire, with Eshika Tangri, Janie Lytle, and Delphine King securing the victory with 3-2 triumphs.
  • Mira Karande and Clare Collins both took 3-0 wins to help propel Bowdoin to the team victory.
  • The win was the third straight for Bowdoin over Bates and fourth in their last five meetings dating back to 2022.

  • The NESCAC Championship field will be announced following the completion of play on Sunday, February 4. Quarterfinal matches will be held on February 10 with semifinals and finals to be played on February 11. All matches will be hosted by Amherst College.
