Women's Squash Ends Season 18th at Kurtz Cup Divisional

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Bowdoin College women's squash team finished 18th in the country, playing in the Kurtz Cup Division at the College Squash Divisional Nationals this weekend in Philadelphia.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • Bowdoin (9-10) rebounded from a 9-0 first round setback to Williams to defeat Denison, 8-1, in the consolation round on Saturday. Bowdoin closed out its season with a 5-4 loss to Colby on Sunday.
  • Against Denison Bowdoin dominated thanks to wins from Eshika Tangri, Clare Collins, Kira Gwadry, Amelie Matuch, Linley Grosman, Elizabeth Kennedy, and Mira Karande.
  • The Polar Bears battled against the Mules to the end, with Matuch, Grosman, Karande, and Cory Spiegel accounting for the Polar Bear points.
