BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's squash team began the 2026 calendar year with a trio of home wins in a busy weekend of action at the Lubin Center. The results moved the 18^th-ranked Polar Bears to 4-4 on the year.
 
Weekend Highlights

• Bowdoin defeated Wesleyan (9-0), William Smith (9-0), and Connecticut College (9-0) in convinving wins, and lost to Tufts by an 8-1 decision.
• A balanced attack led Bowdoin to all of their victories – each by shutout wins.
• Linley Grosman finished the weekend with a trio of wins, as did Clare Collins, Amelie Matuch, Elizabeth Kennedy, Cory Spiegel, and Mira Karande. Spiegel accounted for Bowdoin's lone win in the setback to Tufts.
• Darcy Weber, Eshika Tangri, Kira Gwadry, and Ame Hamrahi had two wins each.
