Women's Squash Concludes Season at Kurtz Cup Division of Nationals

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Bowdoin College women's squash team went 1-2 at the Kurtz Cup Division of College Squash Nationals this weekend at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. The Polar Bears conclude their season with a record of 8-9.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • The Polar Bears lost to Georgetown (9-0) in the quarterfinals of the tournament and fell into the consolation bracket, where they defeated Dickinson (6-3) and lost to Amherst (7-2).
  • Against Dickinson, Bowdoin claimed the final six spots on the ladder to come away with the win. Clare Collins and Eshika Tangri earned 3-0 wins while Skyler Spaulding, Janie Lytle, and Delphine King took 3-1 victories. Mira Karande wrapped up the win with a 3-2 triumph.
  • Emma Watts-Roy (3-0) and Collins (3-2) earned wins against Amherst, but couldn't overcome the Mammoths in a season-ending defeat.
  • The Polar Bears conclude their season ranked 18th in the nation.
